The main offices have been there for years as Carl's is also Hardees East of the Mississippi.

"Hurry on down to Carl's baby where the burgers are charcoal broiled .... "

Yep, it's been Hardee's in all but name for years.

I miss the good old Carl's.

It's been a merger of both and the lines of the merger are blurred. States like Oklahoma have both brands. The Hardees chains have a smaller menu than the Carl's Jr. brand so in a way the Carl's name is the dominant one. Makes sense sense Hardees was purchased by CKE (Carl Karcher Enterprises)

They aren't closing down their franchises. Just moved the main offices. That amounts to a mouse fart in a hurricane as far as impact. People just like to think it's a huge deal. It isn't.
Now if they said we're closing down all of our franchises and moving out of state that's different.

Not really. The companies and jobs leaving amount to bread crumbs compared to the massive labor market in this state.

Also, California creates more jobs than any state and the economy is growing quite briskly so Im not sure why right wing people treat corporate relocations as a huge sign of terrible times that arent really terrible at all.

On the contrary, California is doing quite well.

FYI.
