LOL, why would businesses leave if CA secedes and they no longer have to pay 30% Federal Income Tax?

Not to mention the BS rules, regulations and whatever crap they have to do to please Uncle Shame.

yes tons of people will leave because of a 12 cent gas tax and they will all move to Reno where the tax is 17 cents a gallon higher than California's with the 12 cent increase

How many people left the United States when Bu$h caused Gas price to soar to a whopping $4.50+?

With Trump running as the next puppet for Big Oil. I bet it'll hit $5 in no time.

Well since you ignored me asking you to cite your sources for the 30% tax going to the fed and that Ca get's 99% of it's federal tax money back let me ask you this.
Isn't it pretty much a wash if they Ca gets back 99% of it's Federal tax payment? The net is 1% outgoing.
If it does, don't they use that 99% that the Fed gave back to Ca for the programs and things in Ca that would no longer be paid for by the Fed?
So logically there is no 30% tax, just a 1% net tax savings.
Ca would use that to pay for those things themselves. Unless you plan on cutting all those things out.
At that point there is no elimination of a 30% tax for businesses to stay in Ca.

I don't understand why people are so willing to give their money away. It doesn't matter if it's 1 cent or 1 dollar, question our political leaders why the budget isn't balanced. Why are we funding legal matters for illegal aliens. Why are we funding a bullet train that nobody asked for. Why is the LA city council spending time (money) on fighting Trump. Why is Janet Napolitano hiding $175 million and not in jail. Why are we paying for drivers licenses for illegal aliens.

Isn't it great how they spend our taxes without anything being voted on.

Yep, I could see it getting to $5 and the Trump apologists will find some bizarre way to tell us why that's perfectly ok

No 30% tax? Are you saying we the taxpayers get 99% back? lol wth you are smoking.

Look at the red states that receive 500x more than they put in. Wow, nice scam they got going.

That 1% CA pays goes to these backward hillbilly states. That is a WASTE of CA Tax money. 1% of $400 billion is still $4 billion CA could be using instead of raising taxes on it's people.

We also have Trump who wants to defund CA. LOL, how about CA defunds the Feds...

California is one of the most unfriendly states for businesses. There's too much taxation, and regulations.

Same with the residents fleeing California. They are sick of the unaffordable housing costs/rents, being taxed up the wazoo, dealing with insane laws and putting up with wackos like Jerry Brown, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Gavin Newsom, etc... (Guess what, all are liberals).

In fact, there's a $368-billion reason why California depends on the federal government.
