Hello. I'll be driving south on the Pacific Coast Highway on Saturday from Marin County after I'm finished with my hike. Doing it just to check out the scenery and, hopefully, to watch the sun set from a nice spot. Any suggestions? I don't know how far south I'll get before the sun starts to set. I would imagine that I'll be able to get to Monterey Bay easily, and maybe even south of Big Sur. Thanks for the suggestions.

The outside seating with a fire and a blanket at Roys in pebble beach or just a blanket on Carmel beach anywhere. Depends on what your looking for.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate that day. I lived there over ten years and can count on one hand the sunsets I saw in June. Most of the time its overcast by that late in the day.

If it's clear, maybe Bixby Bridge, or anywhere between Carmel & Big Sur...

Your chances are probably much better on top of Los Laureles Grade, above Carmel Valley & Los Laureles Lodge....
