Imperial Valley is improving as a whole. There are more farmers markets in the area or are round, like Brawley or Calexico. The best times of the years to visit will have to be between November and March. There are parades such as the Cattle Call on 1st November, Christmas parades, the madi gras night paradeand the carrot parade nearby, festivals like the mid fair and Fiesta that lasts for a whole month in March, and community cooking/crafts that happen monthly. If the festivities will not pull you in the food will! There is a variety of Mexican foods, chinese, italian, and even sushi. There is no wonder the people from all over the cold and snowy areas, (also known as snow doves) come to soak up some of our sun

High Deserts have cooler temperatures. As they say, you can always layer on as much as you need, but you can only take off so much.
