Mendocino Coast has a sizable Portuguese community. Many are from the Azores, although my great-grandparents came from Madeira, via Hawaii then to Hayward and on to Noyo.

Half Moon Bay had a sizable community & I think they still have a parade. The Catholic Church (Our Lady of the Pillar) also used to have Portuguese language services, but I don't think they still do.

Tulare and Kings Counties have significant Portuguese communities, particularly Hanford and Tulare. Also in the Sacramento area, such as the Pocket/Greenhaven neighborhood and down in the Delta, there were a number of Portuguese farms and dairies. St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in downtown Sacramento offers masses in Portuguese and the Holy Ghost festas are held at the Portuguese Hall in the Pocket neighborhood. San Jose is known for its Little Portugal neighborhood, where a number Portuguese immigrants settled.

About time some of you guys mentioned the San Joaquin Valley! Basically, if you see a dairy chances are its own by someone of Portuguese descent. Gustine has a huge festa - "Our Lady of Miracles". People come from all over the country for it. Lots of Portuguese in Stanislaus, Merced, and Kings counties.

Ports run a lot of the AG down in the CV. They're not as visible as Armenians and Greeks tho for some reason.
