Pasadena
LA, specifically Hollywood
Pismo Beach
I also like:
Capistrano Beach
Temecula (the wine country & old town)
Dana Pointe
Can't remember SF, I was quite small when I last went. I think I would like it though.

1) Anaheim Hills: beautiful mountains! Yahh!
2) San Francisco: food ala Fisherman's Wharf
3) For now, I guess San Diego, but it might change.

Oh dear. My eyes hurt reading that.
The dining scene in SF is sooooooo good. Before you come next time, check out reviews on yelp.
By the wharf, my favorite that way is called Boulevard, its to-die-for. Down by Mission and Embarcadero. They serve hearty portions and the quality is superb.
Well, my 2 cents.
