Not detaining detainees when necessary is in fact a means of placing an obstacle before the Feds. That's utterly shameful. Modern day Democrats who support the administration in Sacramento are no longer worthy of respect at all. It's young people who will pay the societal price for these idiots' actions.

Of course that person supports it.

He was arrested by the Sonoma County Sheriff for attempted arson and it has nothing to do with the fires that started over a week ago. PG&E has already admitted that those fires were started from their power lines. This was a homeless guy who lit an illegal fire at a park, here's the article: Suspected arsonist arrested in Sonoma | Sonoma Index-Tribune | Sonoma, CA

ICE may or may not have issued a request to detain I have no way to know, so far it's only been the RWNJ websites claim that.

But still no stance on laws that directly cut off local law enforcement from working with ICE only. Lol.

The question is too flawed to answer, it's what is known as a loaded question like 'when did you stop beating your wife' and I'm not going to play so please stop asking.

The arrest of a 29-year-old Latino man this weekend on suspicion of starting a small fire in California’s scorched wine country ignited a firestorm of its own on right-wing media sites whose articles linked him – without evidence – to the catastrophic fires that have killed at least 28 people in the area.

Sonoma County Sheriff Rob Giordano forcefully shot down the allegations at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

There is a story out there that he’s the arsonist in these fires,” Giordano said. “That’s not the case. There’s no indication he’s related to these fires at all. ... I wanted to kill that speculation right now, so we didn’t have things running too far out of control.”

Gonzales was arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. He’s also being held at the Sonoma County jail on a $100,000 warrant out of Ventura County, Giordano said.

Gonzales’ arraignment was held inside the jail because the courthouse is closed due to the fires, a spokeswoman for the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office said.

Thanks for the perfect analogy; there is absolutely no justification for the action. There's no reason for this law to happen, ever, not even "they're hard to work with" or "they have staffing problems".

Oh an illegal alien just started a SMALL fire that was quickly put out. He didn't start the big one that killed people and ruined homes and livelihoods. It's no biggie! How dare you pin this arsonist with a bigger type of arson than the arson that he already committed.

Arson is Arson, regardless of the outcome.

If he had not been caught or at a different time or place, what could have happened? He obviously does not care.
