Great economic news: California is a MANUFACTURING juggernaut -- we are No. 1 in the nation in manufacturing output, and, in the last 12 months it is growing faster than the US economy:

Californiaís "exports of manufactured goods in August rose 7.2% to $9.55 billion from $8.91 billion one year earlier."

California's "exports of Transportation Equipment (automobiles, trucks, trains, boats, airplanes, and their parts) fared even better, increasing by 6.8% to $4.64 billion from $4.34 billion. Exports of Non-Electrical Machinery (machinery for industrial, agricultural and construction uses as well as ventilation, heating, and air conditioning equipment) roared ahead by 12.0% to $4.16 billion from $3.71 billion.

"California accounted for 11.4% of the nationís overall merchandise export trade in August. Through the first seven months of 2017, the stateís exports are running 5.3% ahead of last year.

all I know is I just got my quarterly stock report and that graph line is going up.

So how long before you acknowledge that TRump is helping us economically? Another 6 months? A year? What's the time line??

I'll be happy to give Trump credit (or blame) when he actually implements an economic policy proposal to measure against. So far he and Congress have done very little with the economy. The economy has been growing on autopilot.

Exports will rise as the dollar is devalued. Not necessarily good news.

OP is just doing a little pro-California cheerleading in the California forum.

There's way too much negativity about California in here. A great deal of it seems to come from out-of-staters with an axe to grind.
