I loathe shopping and my favorite mall is my computer. But when I lived in the East Bay, I did like Blackhawk Plaza: https://www.shopblackhawkplaza.com/

I've also enjoyed Malibu Country Mart: Malibu Country Mart : Home

This is actually a fun thread!

I used to like Horton Plaza, but now it is a sad shadow of its former self. Same with Seaport Village, although there are plans under way to revitalize it.

I do still like and visit:

University Town Center in La Jolla
Fashion Valley Mall (Mission Valley)
Irvine Spectrum
Fashion Island

But, obviously, that's a very So. Cal. focused list. So keep the names in other areas coming. It will be fun to have places to check out when I'm on the road.

"Favorite" shopping malls is an oxymoron.

Tanforan mall in San Bruno. Next to a BART station, better than average food court and cheap Monday movie tickets.

Don't know anything about SoCal malls.

I only visit malls out of necessity. To me asking "what is your favorite mall" is akin to asking "what is your favorite tax you pay".
