Let them keep their federal taxes instead of siphoning them to the rest of the country. Maybe they'll do something good with the money.

Because poverty is measured against average cost of housing. What is lower middle class in flyover country is counted as poverty in CA. They don't adjust the figures per area so middle class families in Fresno who are doing fine are counted as being in poverty because they share the same state as the Bay Area.

I think we should all move out of CA (preferably in a Drove-the preferred mode) since so many people on C-D claim it a poophole of a state.

The problem is reality says otherwise. We have programs to help the poor that outshines nearly every other state. And if CA sucked as a place to live the price of admission would not be so high. Sorry haters. Don't like CA don't move here or move away!

I’m not a CA hater just hate to see what’s happening to the state .

And we know which party is to blame .
