We have given up so many things to special interests. Let's not give them our vote by not voting.
Totally agree with you,but maybe not for the same reasons. My husband worked for the Times, in the early 60s part time on weekends. It was a great paper and if I didn't know how to vote or who to support I would take the advise of the paper. I can assure you, now if I lived in Los Angeles I would most likely never take their advise. The paper has changed over the years.

Thank you. I wish more people would do that. It would probably change a lot of things. I typically don't vote for school board people because I have no idea who they are and don't have kids in school, so why should I have an opinion on that? Unless there were a particular member who was going to do something major, it just doesn't make sense for me to vote on it.

I think there's going to be a major backlash on the MSM pretty soon. I stopped a long time ago. I have a friend who freaks out all the time because he reacts to every "breaking news" story that CNN puts out (breaking news, they are all breaking news, at least to CNN). I told him, dude, stop listening to that garbage, it's just designed to get you all fired up, and it's clearly working!
