Oh how I love these threads. My friends and I are all born/raised in SoCal and we call it Cali at times. I know we all say it due to growing up on LL Cool J. So this myth that only non-natives say it, or millennials, is kinda crazy to me since I hear more natives say it than non-natives...and they're Gen-Xers.

Call it whatever you want. You only give a word value (negative or positive) by reinforcing it with your reaction. The more you say you hate it, the more my native Cali @ss will say it. Not really, but maybe a little just to poke at your peeves.

Lately I have been seeing the term "Commiefornia" being used by out of stater's. and that's annoying.
