Taking the Washington State ferries through the San Juan Islands, you can sometimes see dolphins swimming alongside the ferry. Not a huge pod like this, but still.... it's nice to have the company. They're friendly little tykes. Put that on your "to do" list, for after you're settled into your new place, in western WA.

We see these giant miles long pods all the time down here around this time of year. As a fisherman it gets your hopes up then you realize they are just moving and not feeding. The spinners are the best entertainment.
