Read someone else's guide then. Even John and Ken's. This proposition does not state that anyone can "vote in rent control," as you stated. Rent control already exists in many cities in California.

Well, interestingly, after I actually did do my research on the different propositions, it turns out I'm in agreement with many of John and Ken's recommendations. Go figure.

Maybe you aren’t as “liberal” as you thought? Good for you.

In spoonman’s world everything can be reduced to only two possibilities:
1. Liberalism
2. Conservatism

Never is it possible that individuals can consider issues on individually independent merit, using logic, history, science, social science to map rational analysis.

I've never claimed to be liberal. I'm a moderate democrat. I basically straddle the fence, but don't want to register independent, because the party affiliation/voting options, etc., are messed up if you don't choose democrat or republican. But, I've voted Republican in the past - voted for Schwarzenegger, for instance, and not sorry I did. Overall, I vote for Democratic candidates, but I'm pretty firmly in the middle of the road. For instance, I don't have a problem with gun ownership, I do have a problem with bump stocks and no background checks at gun shows, etc. So, in the middle on most issues.

I also agree with Jeff Flake and Pres Bush that all immigrants aren't evil, but of course we need security. But, security with humanity. Our problems aren't caused by outside forces. That's too easy.

The fact that a lot of people think along these lines - "Whoa, those guys are on the radio, they must have special insights on governance!" - is precisely the reason we have a reality buffoon guy who has never excelled at anything other than self-promotion in the White House.

Never excelled at anything other than helping protect the border, lowering taxes, increasing transparency on prescription drug costs, renegotiating NAFTA, rebuilding the military, lowering unemployment, etc. Yep total failure. Time to put down The NY Times or turn off CNN, bud. You may be angry good things are happening but that doesn’t change the truth.
