Potersville, CA
In response to your post about the city. I live 45 minutes away and have driven through the city a couple of times and attended classes with a young woman from there. She said there is nothing to do at all. I appears to be a very conservative city that is standing still in terms of development. Be happy your stay there will be brief.

Porterville is a great location, close to the mountains, close to a lake, close to the ocean, and is in Central Cali. I was born and raised there but the air quality, over-poplulation, drugs, crime, and other negatives far outweigh the goods.
Some people LOVE it......in my opinion it's a trap unless you have the option to move again. IF you do move out that way, move up to Springville which is in the foothills and about 15 minutes away from Pottyville.
I personally will NEVER move back.......EVER!?

Porterville is a small community. Housing shouldn't be too bad they have a community college there. In fact that is where I went to school to be a nurse. Visalia is about 30 minutes away they have shopping malls a regional medical center. Porterville has a pretty nice hospital. There are a lot of ranches and farms they grow a lot of oranges and lemons in the area and there are a lot of dairies so you have a lot of hispanic farm labor there.

It may be extreme but it's the truth in our eyes (ours meaning my entire family and over 70% of my old friends).

Hi, i live pretty close to Portersville and been there many times, it's just like any other small city in the valley, there will be no problem finding a place to rent, there are good and bad areas just like anywhere else. Portersville is close to the mountians, there is some nice places in the mountians to visit, I don't know what there is to do in the city but the coast isn't that far away from the valley. I don't see anything wrong with it myself.

hi, my name is cassandra busbee. I currently attend porterville high school.. porterville is a wonderful city that has its ups and downs. we have really beautiful scenery and great people. one of the best things about living here is all the school competitions. we have many supporters for our choir and everyone loves our cheerleaders.. usually its the billy bad-asses that do the sports but here in porterville, our preps are the players. i hope you find joy in here and hopefully you have fun!
