How about the San Patricios, American soldiers of Irish descent who deserted to the Mexican Army due to prejudice against them during the first War of American Agression against Mexico, 1846
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!

Wow, I didn't think a simple sentence would bring such response. Paraphrasing my earlier post about "potentially being against...illegals & their supporters", is exactly what it is. For every citizen who wants this issue strictly enforced, we are up against the illegals and those who support their cause. I'm sure we can all agree a large majority of legal citizens of Mexican descent and most local politicians of Mexican descent are open border supporters. Don't think when I say supporters, I only mean other Mexican supporters.

Additionally, if you live in Metro LA, you learn real fast who & where concentrations of undocumented live. Further, my family grew up in Argentina so they know when they are speaking to a Spaniard, Argentinian, Salvadorian or Mexican.

In all fairness, why don't Mexico or Mexicans ever answer the question of their treatment towards citizens from Central Americans caught illegally in Mexico in comparision to what Mexican descendants are trying to stop the US from doing to its southern border? Before you call out the gringos & their gov't as being anti-Mexican, explain the animosity Mexicans have toward Central Americans and vice versa even here in Socal.

For all the haters attacking me, good luck spinning this into something other than the political issue this is. Call me a hater and a bigot because thats all you have. Why the need to debase yourself into name calling when you can rightfully debate and justify your point? Explain this to me, why is it when a normal citizen wants existing laws regarding this issue to be enforced, they are called racist?

Their is nothing wrong with protesting, but when your an Illegal Immigrant it's extremely offensive to protest and show disrespect to the Country that provided food on the table, money in your pocket, healthcare and education.

Yes,this is the land of the free, but it's also the land of laws.

This is still the "land of the free", and people are allowed to celebrate or protest however they choose - like it or not.

Course' in 300 years students in California may discuss the 200 year illegal occupation of California by the Americans, before it was ended by the retaking of Aztlan by the transfer of the legal owners from the rump state of Mexico to the legally Mexican territory of California.

Question San Diego cheaper than L.A.?

Do you have an online source that states this to be true? I know that gasoline is more expensive down there, and that wages are lower, too. That's one reason I always try to fill up my car before driving down to San Diego, since gas is less expensive here in greater L.A.

Is it only about the money that illegals aren't dealt with? Yes, to a certain extent. But, whose going to force and watch 15 million illegals go back to their home country? But, if your speaking on political terms, the Republicans finally ditched their corporate buddies on immigration. But, in the end the Democrats went minority first, so the Senate was split. That's bipartisan politics.
