I'll be moving soon to an apartment on Rainier Way, a substreet of North River Rd, it's in the 92058 area code. I googled the area and red flags came up for gang activity at the intersection of N River Rd and Vandegrift Blvd, so I googled my future address in comparison to that intersection and found out I'm roughly 2 and a half miles away from that intersection. According to the map, my address is just across the San Luis Rey River. Am I moving to a safe area?

Have a look at Apartment Ratings - Apartments for Rent with Ratings and Reviews from Actual Renters
This is a good site for apartment reviews. The area you've mentioned gets a bad rap, especially Vandegrift. I've never had a reason to go there, but you can also call the Sheriff's Dept. and make an inquiry. Hope it works out. |
