So, we're staying 4 nights in Yosemite valley (upper pines) in June....(lucky enough to get all 4 nights in the same camp site), and i have two reservations for 1 night at following two sites:

1. Lodgepole Campground-Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park

2. LIMESTONE CAMPGROUND ---- Part of LIMESTONE CAMPGROUND

i only have 1 night and have to choose between one of the 2 sites noted above. which should i keep (# 1 or 2) and why?

I'd pick Lodgepole. To me it's in a better location in Sequoia than Limestone. It's also closer to Upper Pines. Lucky you to snag 4 nights in the same campsite!

Thank you. yes, i was leaning towards Lodgepole too.....it's only a few minutes from General Sherman, 3 sisters, and the other well known attractions.
ok, i'll cancel the limestone site.

yeah, i got lucky with upper pine....was trying to get all 5 nights in the same site, but couldn't. pretty much everything was gone in 6 or 7 minutes from the opening bell...lol i literally snagged it in the first 30 or so seconds....after that, pretty much everything was 1 or 2 nights in the same spot at a time.
