I read an interesting statistic today.................

California has 12% of the U.S. population and 33% of the welfare recipients!

Why would you want to come here????

Besides, the earthquakes are uncontrollable!

Wait a couple of years. Housing will be cheaper by then and hopefully the unemployment picture will improve to well under the 12.2% it is at now. California just is not a good place to move to at the moment.

I don't know how much cheaper it can go...

A co-worker bought a 3 bedroom Bay Area home for 510k in November of 2005... earlier this year she lost it via foreclosure and an investor picked it up in July for 80k

One of my tenants paid $480k for their home and lost it this year via foreclosure and the bank has had it on the market for 139k with no takers...
