Hello,

Our family is moving to the Fresno/Clovis area in a few weeks and was looking for what most people do for drinking water? I see the tap water is less than desirable, but our family drinks a lot. Bottles? Water delivery? What is popular in this part of the country?

Thanks in advance!

I live in central Fresno and love the water. The water was kinda gross like 15-20 years ago, but it tastes fine now. I use Brita filters for my drinking water and cook without any extra filtration. I can drink it just fine without filters, but my SO insists on the filter.

The articles about bad water are often talking about the rural parts of Fresno county. That's where you see problems. Fresno city water is pretty safe, don't worry about it.

The tap water is fine. I lived there several years and its better tasting than most cities I've been in. There's chlorine of course, but that's everywhere.
