Generally this thread is a slam bate and very narrow minded in nature anyway.
Some of the best people I know are from California and real natives too.
I find many people who slam people outside of California aren't even natives to California and some of the ruddiest hippycrites of all.

Yet I remain a Californian. BTW it's about 900 miles from OR to Mexico.
Are you in Mountain Ranch, California (Calaveras County)?

Maybe I should go there.

Tons of small towns. Tons of various climates. Tons of wild land to get away from it all. It's here to explore and enjoy.
I am all for that. But, where would we work?

(Lame, stupid, slow, ignorant, slurred or brain fry voice). Meaning these people from UT did it to themselves because of lifestyle choices or addictions. (LOL!)

To me, it seems the people from CA who are slamming CA on this site are from L.A. and the Bay Area. I'm I wrong? The city folk are slamming this state as being rotten. If you are a CA native or a long time resident, but all you know is life in those two cities, well I'm sorry, but you don't know s&!t about this state! This state has problems, but I'm not going to listen to someone who lives in Los Angeles tell me how rotten CA is. If L.A or San Francisco was CA, I'd be gone by now.

LA and the Bay area have high populations. So, it is a lot of California. But, not all of it. The state of CA has almost 39 million people. The county of LA has almost 12 million people. The city of LA has almost 4 million people. I live in a bedroom community in LA County of about 86,000 people. People on top of people. A lot to complain about. Problems are followed by too many people. We have more people here than the rest of the states in the USA and most countries. Most people would like to live in a nice house by a lake somewhere surrounded by horses, waterfalls and green pastures. But, where would they work?

they make generalizations about us because they are jealous. Places like New york and the east coast tend to worry more about california than the other way around. Of course they will never admit it but lets get real here...we are known for being passive...unlike nycers who are jealous and insecure
