Default Great small town

Whats a great small town in southern colorado (a small town NOT a suburb!) that is SAFE, has reasonable cost of living (i mean actually reasonable similar to that of Canon City area Colorado) preferably close to the beach (but thats not a must) and with a good diverse Asian/Hispanic/Black population
also very important is the cost of houses

You mean southern California?

There aren't any that I know of that are safe AND have a large Hispanic/Black population AND a low cost of housing/living. But I suppose you could get the "diversity" and a moderately high cost of living compared to Colorado (otherwise it would be very high). Some parts of southern San Diego might fit the bill .... I think some here have said Lompoc has reasonable prices also?

A lot depends on your price range for housing.

Weed is in northern Cal .... I lived there for a while, and it's not the nicest place unless you have family there. The only "cosmopolitan" town in the area that is accepting of newcomers is Mt Shasta City.

But in Weed, the median home cost is $264,300 and the median rent is $596 (you can still get studios for $450 there if you don't have high standards).

Oh, I happened to find a town last night that meets the criteria of the opening post, but it's way inland. Tehachapi.

None of those are in southern California...or southern Colorado, whichever applies.

omg, are you trolling???

My spouse is Hispanic and this is what your user name translates to (according to him):

1. I love you I can't something-myself...I think
2. I can't stop myself from loving you
3. I love you I can't stand up.
4. I love you I am unable .... dont know the last word
5. I love you, I can't (protect myself?)

BTW, Tom Tancredo represents CO. Do you know who he is??? lol
