Default SanSan?

removed

I don't believe that san diego-san francisco is one continuous sprawl, at least not going by photos on californiacoastline.org . Unless the sprawl is concentrated around I-5?

choyak is on a distinguished road
There is no continuous sprawl, I-5 is relatively empty also except for the extortion gas districts. From LA to SD, it is mostly sprawley except for the Camp Pendleton area. That is known as 'San Angeles' in Demoliton man!!!

San-San was the name of an urban monad 'constellation' in The World Inside from Robert Silverberg!!!

Since my kids are in LA and we are in Sacramento, we take I-5 trips very often. It is one of the most desolate roads I have ever traveled, much less populated than other interstates I have taken in the midwest or east. Though California is very heavily populated, the folks are concentrated in fairly small areas considering the land in the state. The coastal trip, and I-5, are very open, except for occasional gas station extortions.

Rt 99 between the LA and Sacramento metro areas has a few more population centers, but still has large empty gaps.
