North Pasadena Reviews Moving (Orange: wood floors, rent, neighborhood)

Hi, first post and I am looking for some help, I am interested in moving to the North Pasadena are around Garfield and Orange Grove area maybe a couple of blocks north of the Community College I currently reside in glendale the next city over. One interesting thing is the landlord said im not sure if you familiar with North Pasadena however its not that safe, but the Apt is nice, I cant believe he said that, is it that bad? any suggestion Ideas? etc? the apt looked good but that was online, please let me know, thanks guys!

If you're talking about PCC, the Garfield/Orange Grove area is not all that close. It would be a pretty long walk. Why not look closer to the college? And don't, under any circumstances, rent a place before you've gone to scope it out--and the neighborhood--in person!

I second Mono's advice. Try to stay nearer to PCC. If you don't get within a few blocks, look at the ARTS bus routes as they have a stop right by the college and cost 50 cents a ride. Try and avoid west of Lake and north of 210.
