These are BIGGER events. There's Wiskeytown Lake. Mt.Shasta and the Lake there, plus their Marina Digger Bay at Mt.Shasta.
We have 2 good Hospitals. We have 1 Shasta Community College, minor Campus built at the Old Downtown Mall that's all re-newd and re-built by Viva Downtown. And, the Chico State University Extension school is there. These Extensions emphasize in Medical Arts and Teaching Degrees.
We are getting more Culturally Diverse every month. We have every Language and type of person living here from All over the World.
We have a Gay community, and nice nightclubs for them.
We have a couple Sports Bars and a Disco Type night club that's new, owned by a nice couple that just opened not very long ago.
There's 2 boweling alleys.
A Mall, that's growing with lots of things going on there all year long.
There's lots of brand new homes build and waiting for a buyer or Renter.
