Ontario & RC are neighboring citires. I live in RC. RC is nicer (& more expensive) than Ontario. In RC, a tiny apt is around $900 at the least. Average sized single family homes are about $600,000. It's a beautiful city that has been continuously building for the last 20 yrs.

Ontairo is 'okay'. Montclair is....'okay'. But There are more higher end people living in RC and Upland and yes, those two cities are indeed expensive because they are much 'nicer' areas (dont know what other wording to use for that one).
We have friends of the family in Upland and in RC...but... they have excellent paying jobs to be able to afford to live there. One pays just over 1,000 month for a tiny 2 bedroom apt (about 620 sf).

Cheers for that. The apartments that I have seen on the net are furnished. Is this normal or is just to get you interested.

Furnished apartments... that come with sofa, bed, table, dressers... are rare. Most apartments come with a stove, and may or may not have a refrigerator.

I thought that may be the case. How are the prices of furniture for sofa, beds etc?
