Really curious, as I keep checking 24 hr Fitness' site every few days, and still says all gyms are temporarily closed per Governors order. Starting to bum me out

I believe that when a county gets back into the "orange tier," gyms can reopen. But don't quote me on that--the tier system is subject to change at a moment's notice, and the numbers that allow a given activity to resume keep changing, depending on the activity.

Thanks, I'm in San Bernardino County, which I think is still in the red tier

My gym is open for outdoor workouts. Safer that way anyway as not everyone practices proper mask wearing.

I’m in the Bay Area in a purple tier county.

It will open when Gavie Newsom damned well feels like it.....

Gotta keep keep pulling in the dough. Perhaps if gym owners make a big 'contribution'.

Pretty eye opening but not surprised. Newsom is such a crook.

look for a private gym in the meantime. Most of them in SD just gave Newsolini the finger and opened back up or made additions in parking lots.

Someone on my street gave covid to a workout buddy at his outdoor gym. The guy still hasn't fully recovered.

That's why I can't jump on the "gavin is so stupid" train on this.

I wonder how close and how much contact they had with each other. Wouldn't necessarily blame that on the gym.

Gyms are insignificant sources of covid spread. Gavin is stupid.

I dunno. I guess once we get into the red tier again? It's bumming me out too. Some are open outside, but it sucks in my case, because they don't have enough equipment and all the machines are on a slant. Some gyms are ignoring the order, and I'd switch, but I like 24 hour and willing to wait it out.
