California a disasterous state (home, income, lease)

Wow, after reading this thread I really have only two things to say:

All of those who hate it here in California, move out within the next 3 months but before you do give me a call so I can refer you to a wonderful out-of-state Realtor who can help you find a new home! Sound good?

And to all the former Californian's: now that your gone, be happy in your new utopia state and stop complaining about how horrible it was to live in Cali. That is why you moved, right? Move on with life, stop disecting the past! Get over it, it's only your opinion anyways!

the last time i checked this is a free forum and also we have freedom of speech. so whether YOU like it or not ( cuz after all it is only your opinion) we can complain,give our opinions, give our experiences, praise cali or bash it . our choice. if you dont like it than either counter what the posters are saying with supposed truths or your own. although it doesnt mean that the poster your responding to is not telling the truth. or if you would like than dont go to the threads that OBVIOUSLY are going to have posts on it that you will disagree with. hence the name of this thread " california a disasterous state" hmm you think there might be some negative posts perhaps. this is my opinion and i have the right to say it just as you do. your opinion of how wonderful and perfect california is has no more or less merrit than mine. so those that come here on the board that want to know what california really is like can read each post and make a decision for themselves on what is important and what they are willing to give up for living here.

Actually I never stated how Wonderful and Perfect Cali is but that is interesting that that is what you got from my post. And by the way, your little smily face has zero merit with your post.

This post was'nt directed to people thinking about moving to Cali by the way, it was the bashing title that attracted me to it. But really, if you don't like the state you live in then OBVIOSLY MOVE OUT!!! Those who stay and complain are the same type of people who hate their job but still continue to make those around them endure their unhappyness.

California was so horrible I could never forget. I try and wish I could but I can't.

that comment wasnt necessarily just aimed at you but all the posters here who seem to be blind to what california really is in alot of areas. yes there are posters that think cali is just so wonderful and cant see the ugly side of it. perhaps cuz there in the richest of the richest parts or they have grown used to it that they dont care anymore. I am not willing to settle for the garbage that cali has in alot of areas. i have never said its across the whole state. but its in the majority for sure. even in the richest parts there are materialistic , inconsiderate, and rude people.

knowing that the thread would have complaints on it and you go to it anyway. your analogy about people at work that complain and make those around them endure their unhappyness -- here the analogy would be you go to a job that you KNOW has negative people and you go apply there cuz of it. i dont complain to people in my work place or on the street. i come to a forum that is for everyone and i voice my opinions good, bad , and otherwise. i am btw moving out of the state but doesnt mean i still cant voice my opinion on the state that i grew up and lived for 35 years in.

Geez, don't take it so personal. I grew up in SoCal and can validate the 'opinions' of people who want to or have moved out. I no longer live in CA but like to see what other people say or ask about places I've lived. I am amazed how articulate some writers are and am kinda hooked on this forum, hoping that some of it will rub off on me .
I won't go into why we moved outa CA, but if you believe the opinions of complainers are not true than please say so. If you want ppl to stop pointing out facts about CA, it's not gonna happen. You must believe there are enough positives to offset the negatives. That's great for you.
BTW- I am happy in CO and have been accused of being delusional for being happy in a state other than CA. If you ask me anybody who thinks that IS really delusional.

It's so funny to see all these ex Californians come back to this Calif forum just to bash California. I really think they miss it a lot and are just trying to convince others and "themselves" that their move out of Calif was the right one. They want to act like they are ahead of the curve.
When I move back to Calif, I will not go on the Texas board anymore because I will have moved on. I think these people need to Move On.
Go out and enjoy Colorado, North Carolina, Texas, Idaho, Arkansas, Oregon or where ever you moved to. Oh wait, thats right, the weather keeps you indoors. Well spring is coming so you should be able to get out more for a couple of months until the lovely hot, humid and buggy summers kick in. Then it will be back inside. Enjoy!
