If you are going to post a comment like that, at least give some specifics!

Farewell
As I posted before, I've been trying to get out of Fresno and the time has finally come...I'm off to Colorado...absolutely gorgeous...the sky is actually blue and you can't smell the air. I hope those that love Fresno can turn the town around and make it an enjoyable place for all...clean and friendly. Farewell all and enjoy life, live well, love often

Fresno Pics?!?!?!?!?!?!
Good luck to you. You know, I was checking out the pictures that are on citydata.com of Fresno. I really don't know when those were taken, but the sky DOES NOT look like that on any kind of a regular basis. I sure wish someone would post (and it may just be me) pics of the REAL Fresno. Anybody else agree?

What about River Park in Fresno? I love that place and the surrounding area. Everything around that area looks brand new and modern! Tons of shops and restaurants. We escape Lemoore to go there for entertainment purposes and to be around civilized people. I don't know about the areas outside of that place, but I do like it around River Park.

Here are some pics of the OK neighborhoods. There is some wealth there.

I have lived all over the world and the U.S., and Fresno/Clovis, it turns out, always come back to mind as great places to live. I was raised in Fresno, so my tastes may be influenced by my background. My bias aside, I would like to list some specifics. There are many "desirable" locations that have horrible crowding, like the French Riviera, Jersey Coast, and Manhattan. Other places have much worse traffic than Fresno, like DC and LA. And if you think the weather is bad in Fresno, you ought to try San Antonio in the summer or Germany in the winter. I do not think Fresno has any one thing that is uniquely attractive, like a nice beach. On the other hand, Fresno is unique in its combination of many "pretty good" things. The weather, proximity to beaches/mountain, city planning, lack of traffic, relative affordable housing--all make it a good place to live in my opinion. Besides, where else can you grow so much stuff in your yard?

I love Fresno-the newer parts of it...there are a lot of beautiful homes and places to go for entertainment. It just doesn't have the beach.

I use to live in Fresno. In fact I went to Fresno High. I actually love Fresno. The older homes near Fresno High and the city college are really cool. The Van Ness area is awesome!
