Default Running Route in Visalia

Next week I will be staying at a Comfort Suites in Visalia, hotel is at 9300 W. Airport Drive, Visalia, CA, US 93277. I need to do a 5 mile run that morning and have plotted the following course on mapmyrun.com. Basically the route goes along Airport Drive, Plaza Drive, W. Walnut Avenue and return at Savanah Street. Course goes around Valley Oaks Golf Club. I want to know if anybody has an opinion on this route and area. Thanks.

Not a runner so I can't say to much other than be careful on Plaza drive, people have a tendancy to drive much faster then the posted speed limit and cut the curves a bit. You should enjoy the part through plaza park. Walnut is just country, no sidewalks, but as long as you don't mind the dirt it should be ok. Lastly, make sure you have lots of water, its been in the 100's lately.

Thanks for the reply. I actually prefer the dirt over sidewalks so Walnut sounds like a good stretch. I'll keep my eyes and ears open on Plaza Drive. I'll be out around 6am so hopefully it won't be to hot.
