Hey everyone,
Thanks for all of the information!!!!! Some very helpful information & links.
It sounds like the geek job situation is exactly what I was afraid of. However, it does seem that there are some possibilities and looking around on indeed.com I found a possibility at Sonic Solutions in Santa Maria in addition to the companies mentioned here.
It looks like the best leads for me might be either the telecommuting option or Vandenberg AFB. We are in no rush to move, so I have a lot of time to research and try to figure out what is available. We can also move there and live mortgage free for a little while, so it takes some of the pressure off.
If and when we make it down there, I hope to see some of you surfing.
