Question Soledad - what was the population?

Hi, I'm currently doing a project on Soledad in relation to the book "Of Mice And Men". I need to know the population of Soledad around the the late 30's... specifically 1937 but can't find this information anywhere!!! If any of you could help me with finding this information it would be much appreciated

Thanks, Ross.

Good luck. You might want to contact the Soledad city records. My sense is that Soledad was very sparsely populated in the 1930's since even Salinas was just a small town in those days.
