Cool Antioch: Comparisons House or Condo.

For anyone who lives in Antioch, can you tell me about the following areas?
antioch - Google Maps
That is the area between Highway 4 and the railroad. I did a little driving around on Google Street View, and it seems to be pretty nice. Are there any crime problems there? There are many condos available, which is what we would get in that area.

And I would like to compare that area with the following:

This is a much bigger area, there are many single family homes. How is crime here?

Any thoughts on which area will appreciate more?

Ben928,

Your links don't work. My family moved from Antioch in 2004 because there are issues with crime and poor-quality schools.

Single-family residences usually have better appreciation unless you're in a metro like San Francisco.

Have you thought about Brentwood? No matter which East County community you purchase in, you're likely to get a good deal. Homes are dirt cheap in those communities.

If you give me a street or address, I might be able to be of more help.
