Default Is LA or Phoenix a better alternative to San Diego?

I want to live in SD but it has a rather small legal market compared to LA and Phoenix and I worry I wont be able to find a good job there.

(btw I'm moving when I finish law school)

How bad is the smog in LA? I have some allergy problems and I love to run outside.

don't know Phoenix. stay away from L.A. SD's weather probably can't be beat. I'm no expert on SD. I haven't been there in 30 yrs. I'm sure it's a nice place to run on the beach. Legal? San Francisco maybe? weather may not be like SD, but it's a beautiful city.

Have you not heard that L.A. is the litigation/lawsuit capital of the West? LA market is over saturated with Attorneys which makes it even more competitive to work for a top firm. Most prestigious law firms are located in Downtown L.A. and some on the Westside (Century City, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills etc)
