Default Job seeker advice?

I am wondering if anyone has any good websites or resources that would help job seekers to get their resume out there for employers to see?

How is the construction industry out there? I have several years of experience in construction and am also certified as a helpdesk/desktop support tech.

Glass blower in training as well. Wouldn't mind a job doing this, but not that far into it yet.

How is the outlook for those types of jobs in the North / Cheaper areas?

Thanks!

Residential construction has slowed but in many areas in California commercial construction is still strong.
