Unhappy A town I am looking for along the west coast, help please?

There is a town along the west coast, possibly here in California, but could be WA or OR for all I know. It's small but has a dense population. There is pretty much no tourists whatsoever, and it's got overcast weather year-round, possibly gray and foggy as well. There is also at least one small cove. There's driving, but not alot, because it's all packed together in a small space, so there's really not a big need to drive.

If anyone knows a town on the West Coast, or East Coast, for that matter, please help me out here.

That sounds a lot like Pacifica.. little coastal enclave just south of San Francisco, no major tourist attractions other than the view of the ocean on Route 1.. beaches too cold to use except for fishing.. but very walkable. Very good bus service to Daly City and San Bruno.
