Sonoma County (insurance, house, school)

If I am a California resident (Sonoma County) and I received a Nevada speeding ticket. Does it count against my California license and insurance? If so how can I get it removed? I paid the ticket in Nevada. If I have to take traffic school do I need to take it in Calif or Nevada?

Best answer is to call your insurance agent.
In most cases you need to sign up for traffic school when paying the ticket. It is probably too late to get school if you already paid the ticket.

first yes it would count on your record. And you would have to take a traffic school class that is approved for the county in Nevada in which you got the ticket. The good news is that you can take an online course from your house for the county in Nevada. Just make sure you enroll in the course for that county.
