I have a 1940 Compton, CA Jr. College year book that is in fair shape. I would like to donate it to the school if it still exists, or to the nearest library. It is NOT for sale. This book was originally owned by Albert Curtis, as I have found his picture in the section for "14th year graduates" and I have two of his high school year books also, which I am donating to those schools.

Default 1940 Compton Jr. College Yearbook.

I also am in possession of a 1940 Compton Jr. College Yearbook, in fair condition. I was wondering if it is worth anything, or if i should throw it away. Original owner was Doris Homrighausen.

I don't know about the resale value, but if you are looking to donate it, there are many libraries that keep local history collections and yearbooks are usually part of them. I know yearbooks are tough for them to come by, especially older ones.
