Any secluded Dog Friendly Beaches in Monterey County/Santa Cruz (Marina: live, move to)

What are the least busy beaches in Monterey County or Santa Cruz area? Looking to hike several miles along fairly secluded beaches with our Golden Retriever. We always carry waste bags, of course.
We are looking for quiet beaches, because in southern cal, the beaches are packed all the time. So looking to move to the Monterey area for unpopulated beaches.

In the Monterey area, you can start at the the beach in Marina, which is pretty unpopulated for miles. Everyone is required to keep dogs on leash though, since the beach is public.

It's worth checking out the beach at Carmel by the Sea. Always full of dogs roaming the beach off-leash, but it does get populated on weekends. Try going there on weekdays....

I take my dogs on the beach at 2am.... They love it, the authorities don't work in the night hours ...see you there!!.. I live five minutes south generally no one gives a second thought , but don't want my dogs headbutting some poor Advocate from the big City.
I live near Malibu perhaps we don't care so much here!!

Ha ha, we just got back form our daily 2 hour play session at Crescent Beach (St. Augustine) where we take our baby Pasha at 5:00! She runs, digs for crabs, chases fish, tries to catch the ball, and parties (dog style) with zero hassle from anyone and we love it!
