Am I seeing this right? There is a post about Loomis?
I grew up in Loomis until I went to college. It's a place where you know or at least recognize a few people at the grocery store, you might wave at your neighbors, and the like. Though it is not my cup of tea (I enjoy the city more), it's nice for those that like the smalltown feel, but is within reach of everything you need, including shopping, the lake, Tahoe, etc. It's a great place to raise kids, with very little crime.
