I dated three girls last year, and keep taking girls to dances. I'm really sick of the whole dating and love thing right now, and im sick of high school drama and clicks. People like me at school, and people don't like me. I could get a girlfriend, but I don't want to. I hate the fact about how school and society is too institionalized. This world should let things happen naturally, and when I mean that if some one is in the process of passing a shopping center and then half-way in the process some cynical citizens start some protest and ruin that person's work.

New stores coming to the county:
~Macy's (rumored to replace Gottschalks)
~Lowe's
~Super Wal-Mart
~TJ'Max
New resturaunts coming to the county:
~Olive Garden
~Red Lobster
~Outback Steakhouse
~Pick-up Stix
~Mimi's Cafe
~Johnny Rockets
~Johnny Carino's
~Arby's
~Juice It Up!
~Panera's Bread
New hotels coming to the county:
~Larkspur Hotel
New automobile dealers coming to the county:
~Saturn (possibley going to be apart of the Toyota dealership in SLO)
The city Atascadero need Super Wal-Mart and TJ'Max to bring in more tax revenue to the city, so that the city doesn't go bankrupt. I think a majority of A-town folks want Wal-Mart
Lowe's already started construction in Paso Robles, so that answers that.
Gottschalks is selling out stores to Wal-Mart and Macy's, so it will only be a matter of time until ours is sold to Macy's. I'd pin it for 2010.
It is pretty obvious we need more hotel in this county since they all get full during the wine festival and the fair.
And we really need more nice upscale resturaunts and a couple more fast food resturaunts. 5 starbucks and 6 mcdonalds in Paso? Come on ppl
And ask for the saturn dealership. I know alot of people that like the car brand, so I hope it does better than Mitsubishi.

I thought this forum was about relocation, not retail development. Do you have a question about moving somewhere? If I constantly started threads about cars, computers, or cameras, they'd get deleted or moved elsewhere so why are all these threads in the relocation forums?

If anyone wants to know what chains have locations on the Central Coast, they can easily check the store's web site.

You know--if you don't like what a thread is about, don't click on it. It will fade away if there's no response. Personally, as someone who is about to buy a house in Arroyo Grande, I find this interesting.
Now--is there any chance of getting a Cheesecake Factory within an hour's drive of SLO? If not, I'll be going through withdrawal soon.

Since you're obsessed with this stuff, Bob's Big Boy is coming to Morro Bay. It's going where the old Denny's used to be. That building had sat empty for a while. Denny's decided to fold up after that wheelchaired lawyer rolled into town suing eveyone for non-ADA compliance. I still think you need another hobby, though.
