hmm, i cant believe they r deciding to come to morro bay.

regarding in-n-out: there is one 20 minutes away in atascadero. and they tried putting in-n-out in the dalidio ranch project, and then there were talks about it being along calle joaquin. the whole drive-thru thing is why it wont go in slo.

I like SLO. I've lived here basically my entire life and I think putting in more large shopping centers is a HUGE mistake. Me and my friends and family like going on walks around Montana De Oro, taking our puppy downtown and walking through the mission park and meeting up with friends to play frisbee at the park in Santa Rosa. Personally, I don't shop often, but when I do, it's for necessities or things I've been saving up for. I also do a lot of shopping on the internet, not because there isn't anywhere to shop here, but because of the convenience. Building a couple more shopping centers is basically going to be putting the exact same product in a different wrapping in a different store. Everytime there has been a vote I can count on me and about 20 of my voting age friends (all early 20's) to vehemently vote NO NO NO on new centers like the Dalidio project.

And I have officialy decided that I think Macy's should buy out Gottschalks. and perhaps some of the stores can be sold to wal-mart, kohl's, mervyn's, etc... when in the hand of Macy's.

San Luis Obispo, Visalia, Madera, Chico, and Merced I think could use Macy's.

Yeah I'm sure when these department stores are looking to make a strategic decision like that, the first person they call for advise is a high schooler.
