California (Especially Coastal and Southern) that has Mediterranean climate is sooo famous for it. Everybody loves California's weather.

What makes Cali's weather so nice for you?

Spend a few days outside of coastal California then get back with 18Montclair, missionhome and myself

Wash DC native here who left mainly due to its skanky climate 30 years ago. Presently live in Arizona but with all due respect to the Calif residents----------the cost of living is much cheaper here and at least we still have no winter weather to contend with.

Any day of the year can be called 'nice', be it July or January. Not many other places where you can say that about the weather.
BTW, it was nice today.

Not sure I'm a fan of whatever is this alleged "Mediterranean" climate....

IMO, Med climate is too hot/humid/insect-infested in Summer and too cold in Winter (weather in MonteCarlo and S France in Winter is often too cold for driving perf cars on summer perf tires, unlike CA)....and is an area w/a rather mockable tourism-based economy and lack of modern HVAC in most homes/offices (does anyone work there?)/hotels/restaurants....

LA's Westside and SF's SiliconValley have arguably best overall weather, topography, economic climate and std of living in world....

Lack of humidity (except for the rare monsoon storm that drifts our way in the summer).

Lack of snow (pretty too look at; not so pretty to live in).

Lack of hurricanes (though we have been hit with tropical storm remnants).

Oh, and did I mention the lack of humidity?
