I like California because of the fact that you have the Mediterrian climate of Socal but then up north you can have a 4 seasons climate with snow. I'd love to live in a place like that.

The weather in the San Joaquin Valley of CA was so bad, we moved away. Not all of CA has nice weather.

I'd say MOST of California doesn't have nice weather. The California weather people from the rest of the country picture in their heads is limited to a pretty narrow coastal (and costly) strip.

What makes Cali's weather so nice for you?

I have always thought that socal nights were too cold! Daytime temps were good as long as there were no clouds. the lack of humidity is the best thing going for socal. although, there's something to be said about the "steam bath" effect that you feel in springtime in the Southern United
STates.

We moved to California for other reasons, weather wasn't of interest to us.
Having lived here a couple of years, I'd have to say I kind of prefer the weather back east. I find the long periods (over 6 months) without rain to be a negative, and I really miss the snow.
I can understand why many like this weather, but it really isn't for everyone.

There's something to be said about being in a nice climate area like some parts of california (or any other warm area) in the winter, standing outside washing your truck or driving around while talking to your family whom are back northeast. While they're sitting indoors watching the snow and ice fall because the roads are so bad, while the below 32 degree weather consumes the better part of 4 + months out of the year, while you have to give up so much of what you do outdoors because all you can do outside is laugh and cuss because its so cold, i think one can appreciate the weather out in cali a little better once you get in that position. When those gray clouds move in, they're going to be there for a long time, the only sunny day you get to see is pretty much on tv. Anyways, being out in cali is awesome, and the weather IS a huge factor in many folks moving there. If its a little too warm for ya, or a little too cold in some area's, just remember its only a little off from perfection, it could be worse..

Since you live in Sacramento, you are not that far from snow.

It's not that California is supposed to have the best climate for every person with an opinion in the world, but more of the most comfortable.
