Default Paso Robles

Hello, my family and I are considering moving to Paso Robles. Does anyone have more information on the schools in this area? I have a daughter who is in elementary school. I need good info on the public and private elementary schools in this area, as well as, public and private high schools in this area. Do I have a good choice to pick from?

Thank you for your help.

If you go the public school route, consider trying to enroll your kids in school in Templeton. As for private, there's St. Rose's in Paso. I Thinks it's k-8. North County Christian in Atascadero and Old Mission El. and Mission College Prep in San Luis Obispo.

Some people must feel an overwhelming need to exaggerate when talking on the internet.

I know other people have already responded to you (rather unkindly) but I'd have to agree with you. It used to be a fun, cute little town and now it's full of stuck up wine people and their rich kids, pregnant teenagers and wannabe gang members.

I showed livestock at the mid state fair starting in the mid 90's through 2003 and the change was incredible. It went from going out and having fun at concerts, hanging out with friends etc etc to having a 9pm curfew because of the violence that was happening.

Of course, there are exceptions and there are still good people around Paso, I just to see them as often as I used to. The schools aren't great (Virginia Peterson elementary is good, I used to give talks and presentations there), but don't enroll in any private 'Christian' schools if you can... I've seen worse kids come out of those than the public schools.

Sorry if I don't see Paso as all sunshine and rainbows, but it's just not.

Not being from Paso, I can't speak for the school system, But I know they have two very nice lakes nearby in Lake Nacimiento and Lake San Antonio. I would move there just for that reason alone!! :-)
