Im voting no on 1A. While it would be nice to have a bullet train, its not really a necessity considering there are hundreds of flights a day between northern and southern California.

Plus I dont trust the state to stay underbudget and on time.

I voted no on 1A because I would like to see resources put towards a more robust freight network, which would alleviate traffic much better and save a lot more of our non-renewable energy resources than a passenger network which would have demand waver.

Those flights are quite harsh on the environment and run of fuel just like other vehicles. I don't get why we focus so much on cars' emissions and their acceleration of society to peak oil while airplanes go unnoticed.

I'm voting no on everything but 2 (standards for confining farm animals).

What's wrong with Prop 12? It is an extension to the existing VA Loan Program that helps Veterans get favorable interest rates on home loans at no cost to tax payers.

These bonds pay for themselves and incur no direct cost to taxpayers. The mortgage payments go directly to paying P&I on the bonds. Closing costs/etc pay for the administration of the program. VA Loans require the use mortgage insurance to pay for failed-loans (and the gimmicky schemes to avoid MI are not allowed by the VA).

The only loss to taxpayers is the tax write-off on interest that bond-investors get (and they would simply buy other tax-free bonds if these weren't available). Quite frankly, if we're worried about that, we should eliminate the yacht loophole--it's worth a lot more money.
