My husband and I are planning to move to the bay area in a few years and I am trying to get some research done. He works in the car business and as for now I am an at home mom, but am thinking about getting my masters in SF. I would prefer to live north of the bay (Novato, Sonoma, Napa, Petaluma, Santa Rosa) and if we did so, I'd forgo the masters and focus on other areas of interest (due to the fact I'd spend ALL day and night in traffic). My dream house would be in a "country" atmosphere (I'd love to have acreage) and have good schools for our kids but close enough to the city for us to work without a knarly commute (we are in Seattle now and this traffic SUCKS!). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
