I would choose Pasadena. Lots of bars on Colorado Blvd. Then there's the Rose Parade and people everywhere.
Glendora doesn't do anything for me.

Don't pay attention to this moronic comment. There are lot's of bars everywhere. Pasadena isn't just Colorado Blvd. There aren't really that many bars on Colorado Blvd...it's a very long street. Either of those areas would be fine. Glendora is a bit of an older community, but I always like living around old people...the areas are always safer and quieter. You can always travel for the action. Pasadena is a GREAT city and one of my absolute favorites. There are also a lot of book stores on Colorado blvd as well...that I love.

If you're still looking for the bar scene I'd advise Pasadena over Glendora. Glendora is a pretty sleepy city without much nightlife - unless you call hanging out in the McDonald's parking lot a night life...

Sleepy suburban Glendora vs. revitalized Pasadena. Hmm, I think you'll know what to do. Question is, can you find a place in Pasadena for $1,200 mo.?

Interesting, I too would choose Pasadena if I were young and wanted the party scene. Glendora is a wonderful family town, certainly not a bar hopping town, that being said, how did this, almost a year old post re-surface? I bet the OP has moved many months ago..
