Default New from VA

Hello everyone, I'm new here; my first visit, and I'm looking for any info you can give me on the less populated areas of CA. I'm looking at relocating w/in 2-2.5 yrs. and CA is tops on the list. I know very little about the state, w/ the exception of it being the first to be open minded to change. And that makes it even the more attrative to me, a VA native. I'm not interested in the large populations I hear so much about in CA, and from what I understand the northern part of the state is much more attractive to someone like myself. I'm going to search this forum of course for all the info and input available. Anyone here from VA originally? Can you share your experiences w/ me? I certianly expect most things to be quite different thana what I'm accustomed to here. The general nature of the people, the many cultures, the weather, etc.. I'm a hunter and fisherman also and interested in what CA has to offer. I realize this is pretty general, but I must start somewhere. So, my best to you all, and thanks for taking the time to read this. Take care. Be well.

The less populated places are usually the places with the fewest jobs. If work is not an issue, there are plenty of rural and semi rural places in northern CA that you would probably like.
