Lets see if I have this right. Black men are robbing people. Police chief wants to find out who the black men are who get stopped by police in an effort to stop the robberies. Police Chief becomes scapegoat for expressing what 90% of the cities population is assuredly thinking the police should do. What would you have the police do? Make sure they pull over and question 1 white guy for each black guy they pull over? No. I guess they should just question Chinese men to try to solve/stop the robberies being perpetrated by black men. Geesh!

Palo Alto Police Chief got pushed out for DOING HER JOB
Well, here we go, typical Palo Alto.
I was born and raised in Palo Alto and have lived here all my life.
We (locals) all, ALL know where the crime comes from in Palo Alto.
Almost all the crime we have comes from EAST Palo Alto in San Mateo County. East Palo Alto has a WELL DESERVED reputation for producing all sorts of crime and all sorts of criminals who slither over the highway to come into Palo Alto to prey on all the silly yuppies who wouldn't know how to defend themselves even if their life depended on it. (as it often does)
Criminals from EPA (as we LOCALS call East Palo Alto) have made the news by murdering people on the STEPS OF PALO ALTO CITY HALL! Yes...on the VERY STEPS of CITY HALL...no S..T....
That with the more recent huge wave of attacks terrorizing people all throughout the city brought all sorts of heat on the PAPD to DO SOMETHING about the rise in crime. Many of these attacks were in broad daylight....right downtown....at the train station....
The Police Chief did her job and told her officers, her people to look for suspects who matched the description of the assailant. (AFRO-AMERICAN "black" MALE, gangster clothes...etc etc)
Well, now...low and behold, they finally DO GET THE GUY...and guess what.....HE's an AFRO-AMERICAN "black" MALE....the totally stupid street thug ghetto worm "hoddie" jacket...the baggy pants...the tax-payer funded welfare apartment...the whole thing...really...no kidding....and NONE of the LOCALS are surprised...not one little bit. We've all lived with the specter of rampant EPA crime for DECADES....we KNOW what it's about here on the Mid peninsula...
But in no way does this vindicate the Police Chief in the eyes of the freaks who whine about every thing the police do that does not benefit them DIRECTLY.... Nope. The kids over at Stanford (who benefit from a "safe" town, thanks to the PAPD) couldn't yell loud enough to have her fired....nope. All the dizzy liberals who want a safe city, and are glad to have the cops around to keep the streets safe, are all the VERY SAME dizzy liberals can't scream loud enough about all the B.S. concocted "profiling" and "abuse" the PAPD "allegedly" engages in....
Shallow Alto.....at it's best.

Finding out the groups responsible for crime is how you fight crime.
If it were whites who were targeted, no one would say, "boo!"
Ignorance and lack of education at it's finest in Palo Alto.

PaloAlto and Atherton will always have safety issues b/c of dramatic wealth so proximate to the 101 poverty/crime corridor
PA has a confused socialist ethos, much like SF...and inept cops, much like SF
When in SF (which has no tolerable shopping areas), will occasionally shop in Menlo's filthy downtown or more manicured StanfordShoppingCtr in early AM before many criminals wake up, but don't have a sense of civilized security and/or clean setting when walking around these places, e.g., from one's car to Draeger's...PA and Menlo could learn much from downtown BeverlyHills in creating a safe, pleasing walking setting for local taxpayers...
Many who live in PA region prefer to live in towns W of 280....prefer to let PA and Atherton serve as "buffer zones" vs inevitable crime...and have noticed that many who live in Woodside also own wkend houses in BeverlyHills...vote w/one's feet and one's dollars

Well, she's gone. They got rid of her. She thought she could break through the glass celling, she almost made it...she could have gone even higher....but she forgot to notice that it was covered in rubber.

This issue wasn't stopping black men in connection with the crime, the issue was stopping all black men to "find out who they are" (in her words). That is wrong. If they aren't driving the car the suspects were driving, why pull them over? What if you pull over and humiliate a black man who also happens to be a lawyer. That's why her comments caused such a problem. Not because she was trying to solve the crime, but because she wanted to stop all black men and see "who they were." Not all black men are criminals.

The good news for the Chief is, she know longer has to put up with the political BS, and she retires with a minimum of 90% of her salary... Now she can take her fat retirement check and go get a decent job.....
Good for her...

It's funny people ignore that, police don't randomly pull over white men looking for child molesters do they? Why would this be acceptable?
